For Ujima By Ujima: Troubling Voting, Citizenship, Democracy & Participation in 2020A few weeks ago we presented To Possess Freedom Once Again, a series of events aimed at excavating and returning to a tangible freedom that our ancestors once knew. This desire to excavate where freedom lies has, most recently, manifested into our next panel discussion For Ujima By Ujima: Troubling Voting, Citizenship, Democracy and Participation in 2020. On September 30, 2020 6:30-8:30PM, in partnership with the Black Economic Council of MA (BECMA) and Mayor's Office of Resilience and Racial Equity, Ujima staff will present a lively panel and Q&A discussion on the past and current mechanisms of democracy, citizenship and voting in the United States.
